Antennas

The hardware, and why size matters.

Why size matters

Bigger dish, more signal, longer lock. The network mixes massive steerable dishes with fields of phased-array panels, each doing a different job.

The hardware

dishes 11m steerable, for deep and GEO
arrays phased panels, for LEO bursts
yagis cheap, for education and backup
radomes the domes you see by the coast

Beautiful, honestly

A tracking dish is the most honest machine we know: it just points at the thing it's listening to, and follows.
